Going the Extra Mile

Our Community First Responders don't just save lives - as if that wasn't enough they also fundraise to support the Charity  to ensure all our CFRs have access to the right equipment and training.  During the current pandemic some of our CFRs have really gone the extra mile!

Southampton East CFR Claire Hill recently agreed to shave her head if she could raise £250.  Not only did Claire smash her target with a fantastic £407 raised.  Claire said that 'during such a stressful time, she just wanted to do something random to help out'.  Well last week Claire braved the shave!  Well done Claire.

Beaconsfield CFR Rachel Rodham has been less random but no less successful or resourceful in raising £502 for the Charity.  Rachel said she was 'overwhelmed with all the kind words and amazing support while responding'  and went on to thank those who were supporting her.

We could not be prouder of all our CFRs and Co-Responders who are supporting their local communities.
